As co-founder and CTO of Island, Dan Amiga invented the Enterprise Browser category and drives the company’s work to secure and govern the agentic era. A veteran of Israel’s 8200 cyber intelligence unit, Dan previously invented remote browser isolation as founder and CTO of Fireglass, acquired by Symantec in 2017. Earlier, he served as chief software architect at Schneider Electric and led software security for Microsoft’s Technology Center in Tel Aviv. Dan holds numerous patents spanning browsers, networking, and agentic infrastructure. He is also a founding partner at Picture Capital, investing in early-stage cybersecurity and enterprise infrastructure companies.
